Semuc Champey - Guatemala

Well 2012 is here and I managed to explore some mayan civilisations over Xmas and New Year which seemed fitting with the predictions for the end of the world originating here. Guatemala has been a stunning experience of culture and scenery and I thought i'd share this photo i took of Semuc Champey near Lanquin. A hike up brings a look out to these stunning water pools surrounded by lush jungle valleys. Enjoy.
